The wide-eyed boy started to trace my wrists before he took his knife and roughly sliced through them.
“MMPH, MMMMPPPHH, MMPPPHHHH!” Tears rushed out of my eyes as I screamed into the cloth over my mouth. The pain was excruciating and unbearable.
“It’s a shame I can’t finish the job, but orders are orders.” The wide-eyed boy got off me and stood up. I curled up into a ball still screaming with the pain.
“Jack.” The voice of the black-and-white masked boy was casual.
The blue masked boy walked up to me and took the needle in his hands and stuck it in my neck. A searing pain spread through my body and then all pain subsided. My eyes closed and all went black.
----------Time Skip----------
I slowly regained consciousness; I was lightly bouncing as if being carried by someone in a walking motion. There was a blanket-like thing on me. I was still in the clothes I wore when I was attacked; a black hoodie with cross hatched purple lines in it and a pair of soft short-shorts. I was thrown over someone’s shoulder and just sat there in a daze for a few minutes before I felt the pain my wrists; judging by how much it had already healed I approximated I had been out for an hour. The full force of the pain had now set in, but I clenched my teeth and had bear through it, if I made a noise they’ll know I’m awake. Blood had ceased flowing through the wound, so I decided it was ok to move. My arms and legs were bound by a rope; I won’t be able to run. There was a sudden fall and impact *clink* my shoe had hit something metal. An idea popped into my head, it was absurd and had a 99% chance of fail but there was no other choice. If the metal thing was a knife I might be able to cut the rope around my legs and make a run for it. This had to work, it was my only chance.
I mentally counted, 3…2…1…GO. I kicked down sharply and my left leg was met with a sharp knife that carved through its flesh. I had to ignore the pain. I pulled my legs up and it miraculously cut the rope, I had to sacrifice my leg though; the knife had almost gouged out part of my flesh. I rolled to the side and landed on the ground with an unforgiving jolt of pain. The rope around my legs had fallen off and I got up to start running.
“Aahhhh!” I let out a scream of pain when pressure was put on the leg. Instead of running (like I planned) I was furiously limping. The adrenaline that was pumping through me made the pain in my leg less noticeable. Blood soaked my leg as I made my escape. I had no idea where I was going but I had to go, and I had to go fast.
“SHIT” I could hear someone shout from behind me.
“WHAT THE FUCK? HOW THE HELL’D SHE DO THAT.” The voice of the wide-eyed boy.
Their voices got drowned out by my heavy breathing and heartbeat. I had to run. I had to get away.
“Hah, hah,” I started gasping for air, I had already used my adrenaline in the initial attack and the pain in my leg was gradually getting worse, not to mention my migraine was now in full swing. I could barely stay upright with how dizzy I was, let alone running.
“No,” I whispered as I started to slow down. I could hear them behind me, I couldn’t stop now. Somehow I gathered up extra strength and started running (limping furiously) again. I knew my legs were going to give out soon so I had to get as far as possible. Maybe I can climb a tree. No. It’s impossible, but my only chance to lose them. I was looking for a tree to climb when my left leg started to drag and then the foot got lodged underneath a tree root. *THUMP*
“Oh, god.” I could see my ankle was twisted. I had no hope now, my leg’s pain was restored to its full glory and the added pain of the ankle made it almost impossible to move. Almost… I started scaling the nearest tree as fast as I could with only half my arm strength, one leg and a migraine that I would probably pass out from soon. I used to climb trees a lot when I was little, and I still do; so I thought I might have a chance. Luck has been on my side with everything so far, so hopefully it still is. Astonishingly I actually made it to the base branch, but it was only off the ground by around three metres. I tried to get up the tree more but the pain was too unbearable now. I clung to the branch and focused in not passing out. My mind was starting to drift and my grip was becoming limp. I was going to fall soon, and I just hope I was too ‘out of it’ to feel the pain. My mind slipped and my body followed, I waited for what felt like an eternity, to hit the ground. But no; somehow, someone, caught me. The impact still hurt, but it hurt a lot less than what it would have. My eyes were hazy as I looked to see my savior. A yellow hood, that’s all I saw. Then the sharp pain of a needle in my neck, followed by the darkness. My struggle... It was all for nothing…
Very sorry for the bad grammar/spelling
